Phil recently made a goal that we would go on a hike every weekend this summer. I know, a little lofty, huh? Well, luckily there's a lot of hikes in this area to choose from, and we're planning on doing all the fairly easy ones. Last week, we did Donut Falls. We each came out of that one with a few bumps and scrapes to show for it, Aidan definitely with the most, but that's another story for another day. Yesterday morning, we hiked up Ensign Peak. It ended up being a lot steeper than we expected it was going be, but overall it was definitely worth it. Amazing views of the Salt Lake valley! Too bad our camera died halfway up. Note to self: Next weekend, make sure camera is charged BEFORE we leave for hike. Here are some pics we took on the way up, and a couple we took at the top with our camera phones...
Aidan's favorite part was a little muddy puddle he found at the top. He instantly ran over to it and began splashing around. It's funny, every night he never wants to stay in the bath for more than a minute or two, but give him a muddy puddle and he is all over it! Such a boy! ;)
